During the month of September, our Caldwell community celebrated kindness through Family Service Night where we collected items with Streetside Showers for the unhoused community, crafted beaded window decorations for our elderly neighbors, repurposed old materials into dog toys for Collin County Animal Services, created spirit sticks, and wrote thank you notes to our Caldwell staff as well as community first responders. We followed this up with a sing-along at a local nursing home, cheered for the home team at a Halos T-ball game for kids with special needs, held a cleanup day in our school garden, and visited pets at the animal shelter. Together, we recorded 1,399 acts of kindness and raised $33,650 for our school. Way to go, Caldwell kids!
