Officers (Elected Board Positions)
President
Leads all PTO general and board meetings; acts as the parent and community liaison; partners with Principal and Asst Principal to coordinate activities and meet funding needs. Coordinates the work of all the officers and committees so that the purpose of the organization is served.

Vice President
Supports President at meetings and in communication, stands in when President not available.
​
Secretary
Maintains a record of all PTO general and board meetings and maintains lobby bulletin board.
​
Treasurer
Maintains accurate accounting of all PTO funds; collects and disburses payment for all PTO functions; collects information for and submits documentation to governing entities as necessary. Oversees Sponsorships and spiritwear committees.
Volunteer Coordinator
Generates a list of volunteers willing to assist during PTO events; coordinates volunteers for events; maintains contact with volunteers throughout the year. Works closely with Room Parents and Teacher Appreciation Committee and those with high need of volunteers.
Committee Chairs (Volunteer Board Positions)
Communications
Maintains and administers the PTO Facebook page, Instagram, and Remind communications. Builds and sends monthly e-newsletter. Plan to attend monthly board meetings.
Sponsorships
Leads the Raise Craze Kindness Fundraiser in September. Call on local business for sponsorships and special events like spirit nights, communicate to and with committee members, follow up on documentation needed for donors. Plan to attend monthly board meetings.

Staff Appreciation
Lead committee of volunteers to organize monthly staff appreciation events, staff birthday treats, meals, holiday gifts, and Teacher Appreciation Week. Plan to attend monthly board meetings.

Student Events
Organizes and run school events, including the Back to School Picnic, Cocoa & Carols, our spring dance, and more! Plan to attend monthly board meetings.

Class Helpers
Leads recruit & lead all class helpers; communicates information from PTO board to class helpers, works to get contact information from helpers. Class helpers communicate information to parents within assigned classroom, partners with teacher to plan classroom events, supports class helpers lead to gather parent contact information. Plan to attend monthly board meetings.

Programs
Help us select and organize Fall and Spring school-wide assemblies. Additional opportunities can include helping staff set up after-school clubs and organizing guest speakers for PTO meetings. Plan to attend monthly board meetings.
Committee Leads & Committee Members (Volunteers)
Bilingual/Translating Lead
Assists in all communications both written and verbal as needed to ensure accurate Spanish/English information is disseminated. Helps with outreach and inclusion of the Spanish-only community.

Spiritwear Lead
Create design ideas for T-shirts, maintain sales history, conduct price research and place orders with suppliers, create order forms, and organize sales to families at select Caldwell events. You're welcome to attend monthly PTO board meetings, but it's not required.
​
Yearbook Lead
Creates the annual yearbook. May take photos at school events, gathers parent & teacher photos for yearbook use, assembles layouts, coordinates marketing efforts for sale of the yearbook, and assists in distribution. (Most of the effort is Feb-May).
Spirit Night Lead
Schedule and publicize four to six Caldwell Spirit Nights at local restaurants or entertainment venues. You're welcome to attend monthly PTO board meetings, but it's not required.

Dads of Caldwell Elementary (DOCE) Lead
Organizes Pizza on the Playground event in the Fall and Donuts with Dudes event in the Spring.
Staff Appreciation Committee Member
Join the team to plan and deliver fun meals, treats, and gifts to our teachers and staff throughout the year, as your schedule allows.
Raise Craze Kindness Fundraising Committee Member
Join the team to plan and host Caldwell's 2nd annual Raise Craze Fundraiser in September 2023! We'll hold service projects and encourage kindness. This committee will run mainly from August through September with day and evening opportunities available.
Student Events Committee Member
Join the team to plan and host awesome events for our students and families throughout the year. Examples include the Back to School Picnic and Spring Dance. Day and evening opportunities are available to fit your schedule.

Class Helpers Grade Level Member
Volunteer to be a helper in your student's grade. Help with classroom holiday parties, and work with teachers to fulfill classroom needs throughout the year.
